Home Hidden Cameras and Home Invasions

!±8± Home Hidden Cameras and Home Invasions

If there is any doubt in your mind about the growing problem of home invasions, you need to look no further than the city of Phoenix, Arizona. This once beloved city is now the kidnapping capital of not just the state, but the country and truth be told maybe even the world. It has gotten so bad that the Phoenix police chief was reassigned recently to be replaced by six federal agents in the police department in a special unit called "home invasion and kidnapping enforcement".

There are many areas of crime where people are scratching their heads wondering if the bad guys are in control-home invasion is one of them. Almost all home invasions and kidnappings at least in the Phoenix area are drug-related so it's no shock that the people in the ATF work very closely with the Phoenix Police Department.

The level of frequency of home invasions in Phoenix is alarming. They are getting increasingly more violent and there doesn't seem to be an answer. A Special Agent with that ATF recently said that issue cannot be brought under control by any one agency-that is pretty scary

There is no doubt in my mind that the proximity to the Mexican border is part of the problem but they are up all over the country. They are a nationwide problem. Frequently a driving force behind home invasion is drugs. That is true in Phoenix and the rest of the country. They are seldom for some vague reason-there is usually drugs involved.

To refresh your memory home invasions are basically home burglaries on steroids. Home burglaries are committed by usually lone perpetrators who are unarmed and perform their deeds during the day. They wish to avoid confrontation.

Home invasion on the other hand, is usually done by two or more people who are frequently armed and deliberately choose to do their deeds when the homeowners are there. That is what makes them so frightening. The chance of a violent crime occurring are increased dramatically.

The best three ways to avoid one in the first place I suppose is don't have drugs in your house for starters. Then always use your peephole even if you live in an apartment complex or a mobile home. Find out who's at your front door before you open it. That frequently works.

Another way to prevent one is to install some home hidden cameras or hidden security cameras at your front and back door. If the bad guys do happen to get in you will at least have a picture of them to show police officials for identification.

When are you getting one?
